The Toast for the 50th Anniversary of the MACP, proposed by Agneta Lando25th Oct 2018 THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MACP Thank you, Nicola, and the Executive Committee for inviting me to propose the toast on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the MACP, it is an honour. I have in my hand a copy of the first MACP Constitution. It is so small that some of you at the back of the room probably can't see it. It was given to me by Sue Adams, who sadly can't be here, but for those of you who refreshed your memory of the present constitution, prior to the AGM, as you do, it demonstrates one of the ways the MACP has grown over the last 50 years. With any anniversary, it is customary to celebrate the past and the future and this occasion is no different. So, let us go back and remind ourselves of whence we came... click here to read the statement in full

Management of Atraumatic Shoulder Instability in Physiotherapy (MASIP) Study15th Aug 2018 Dear members, Please support this study: Management of Atraumatic Shoulder Instability in Physiotherapy (MASIP) Study It takes about 10 mins to complete, and at the end you can download your responses and use them as CPD evidence. The CPD evidence can be used to show involvement in research, but also having a copy of the questions and answers can provide a good opportunity for reflection and discussion - particularly if a small group work together to compare answers after completing it. The survey is being done in collaboration with Anju Jaggi's Shoulder Unit Team at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, and hopefully we'll be able to share/publish the results. To extend the reach as far as possible and capture people with a range of experience please help in sharing the survey to your clinical contacts, whether it's current/past colleagues, or even people you have trained with, to help get the message out there. Thank you for this, really appreciate your help with getting the message out. The link to the survey is: www.shouldersurvey.com |
