CIG Changes

24th Jan 2011

CIG changes -
The CSP has decided to change the CIG structure and bring groups together as Professional Networks of similar specialities. The MACP in the "Musculoskeletal " Alliance. MACP Chair Chris Mercer has been working with Chairs from AACP, PPA, MIMTP, AOCP, sports medicine, BAHT, Craniosacral, Orthopaedic and injection therapy groups. The CSP are considering the title "neuro musculoskeletal" for the group. It was suggested by the CSP officers that there was a desire to have a workable constitution to cover ALL professional networks. This raised some major issues relating to membership, purpose of the professional networks, and executive committee membership amongst other things and these have been taken back by the CSP for consideration. A further meeting is due in April.
