MACP Awards and Bursaries 2017-2018

The MACP aims to support, promote and develop its members with education and research activities. The total amount of funding the MACP has committed to support its members has recently risen from £19,000 to £31,000 each year. This is available through a number of awards that have been divided into awards that support education and continuous professional development, and awards that support research activities.

The Education and CPD Awards & bursaries aim to provide financial assistance to allow its members to further their education where, as a result, there is a strong likelihood of a meaningful change to practice and patient care. The Research awards aim to support the development, undertaking and dissemination of research findings in the field of neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy.

We encourage all MACP member to apply for these awards. In a typical year 75% of applicants are successful in their application being awarded, and some awards do not always receive an application each round. Please see previous Bursary Awards winners for example of reports (https://macpweb.org/home/index.php?p=494)
