PhysioUK

Dear Members

As part of PhysioUK the MACP are offering a mentoring programme for full and associate MACP members with limited or no experience of submitting an abstract for a scientific congress. The goal of the mentorship programme is to help authors, who may have limited access to appropriate levels of academic support, present their material clearly and concisely prior to submitting the abstract to the formal abstract review process.

Participants should prepare their abstract according to the submission guidelines and forward it to administration@macpweb.org

One round of feedback will be provided, with advice on ways that the clarity of expression could be enhanced, in time to make changes and submit before the deadline. It is the author's responsibility to submit their final abstract following the appropriate guidelines.

It is important to note that the mentoring process is entirely separate from the formal abstract submission and review process. Requesting mentoring assistance and gaining feedback from that process does not guarantee that an abstract will be accepted for presentation.

The mentorship process will run from 10th to 17th April 2018 in order to give the author time to amend their abstract and submit by the deadline of 20th April 2018.

Kind regards

Nicola Heneghan, MACP Chair
