Recruitment of Portfolio Route Lead - Role Description
 
We are looking to identify a new Portfolio Route Lead for the MACP. This will be a paid role (hourly rate £26) and the individual will take over from one of the current leads, continuing to work alongside an existing co-lead, supporting individuals wishing to join the MACP through this approved route to full membership. We anticipate the work commitment being around 1-2 days a month. Given the nature of the role we anticipate this being flexible and perhaps suited to someone working part time or wishing to get more involved in the ongoing development of this route and the MACP.
 
The Portfolio Route Lead will be the first point of contact with individuals wishing to explore this route. They will field enquiries and coordinate evaluation of submitted portfolios (by a team of assessors) and work closely with the CEA Chair to ensure efficiency and support of those seeking to join. The Portfolio Route is subject to the same governance requirements of University based approved routes with an external assessor appointed to provide an annual report. We would anticipate that this role is best suited to an individual who has previous experience of working in higher education, but this is not essential.
