I am a Physiotherapist by profession, with a background in Advanced Practice, particularly centred around the management of people with complex shoulder
problems. Having completed a NIHR Doctoral bridging programme, she is now undertaking a PhD full time, funded by NIHR ARC West, the University of Gloucestershire, and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHNHSFT), around the practice of Social Prescribing – an approach which empowers individuals to take control over their own health and well-being. She is currently the Head of Research & Development for Therapy at GHNSHFT and a CAHPR research champion for the West of England Clinical Research Network.
